Lignin Film Assisted Methanol Fuel Cell

Methanol fuel cells are applicable to both portable and stationary applications as a power source. However, the fuel crossover issue has thwarted its commercialization. We use bio-materials such as lignin to make protection layers to reduce the crossover and enhance its performance.
Disease control and detection via DNA technology is of increasing interest. We aim to use electrochemical methods to largely increase the efficiency of quantification of pathogens.
